The late '70s were an amazing time for music. Arena rock and disco we still going strong, Punk and the beginnings of New Wave were on the rise, and innovative musical artists were taking cues from the likes of Kraftwerk to create sounds never heard before.
This week the GenXplainers podcast explore a song by electronic music pioneer Gary Numan. It was a revelation at the time and still shows up in pop culture to this day, being used in a Superbowl commercial for Walmart just a few years ago.. But is it “perfect”?
